Vampires & Zombies
Spent last night with a few of my favorite zombie movies, tonight it is vampires. Some from my DVD collection and some from Netflix.
I’m watching Bram Stokers Dracula right now. Then Shadow of the Vampire, 30 Days of Night and Interview With a Vampire. I’m really liking Netflix lately, just wish they would continue to grow their online catalog for instant viewing. I would even pay more for my membership if they had more movies, especially new releases.
Catching up on Podcasts
Listening to Dark Horizons and Industrial Strength Nightmares all night; trying to catch up on two of my fav podcasts.
May also spend some time looking for more (music based) podcasts. So, if you stumble across this post, and know of a good podcast, please leave a coment.
SEO Results Are Improving
Every so often, I take a look at the way that people find my websites. And for the TheUnclean.com, I noticed that I am in the #2 position of Google when searching for ‘suicide girl gallery‘; right after the official SuicideGirls website and out of 1,480,000 sites. This isn’t by accident, and not a fluke. I am also in the top 5 of over a dozen other SuicideGirls related keywords.
While I am happy with the results, I still have much work to do. Over the next few months I will be working very hard to make solid gains with other keywords, none having anything to do with SG. There is major competition, but I am confident that I can continue to make page 1 on my next round of work.
666 Days of The Unclean
At first, the site was just going to be a small list of links and RSS feeds of sites, artists, etc that I like. I put a couple of apps that worked as reminders for me, handled my email, basically productivity tools used for my own dark needs. I found a way to use Google Maps, create RSS feeds from my own entries, and then I found WordPress had grown way past simple post entry capabilities. With the ease of plugins and seperated design from data, I got one of those things, what are they called? Oh yeah, an idea
I liked it and tried to run with it, but soon fell flat on my ass! At the time, I was still working two full time jobs and commuting just over 3 hours a day. In fact, over the past 9 years, I have averaged just over 76 hours a week not including commute or training and making time for my family. I was smoking, overweight, often forgot to eat, drinking enough caffeine to kill a rhino, had regular and sever migraines and then came the seizures. It’s no wonder, for 9 fkn years I had pushed myself to the breaking point.
Now that I answer to no fukn 1, I am very excited to see what I can really do.
…it’s like being able to breath again, for the 1st time.
As You Sleep
I spent the past few days struggling with the changes I want/need to make for my site, TheUnclean.com. But during a feeble attempt at sleep last, I saw it.
I knew the the theme I had already chosen was exactly what I need to start with. I was just uncertain about how to best implement it. I knew that I wanted a far cleaner layout, less clutter with more content. I was just nervous about becoming reliant on page bloating code. While sitting on the couch, staring into the NeverNever, I figured it out. Damn, I frkn dig it when things come together!

Testing the New (customized) Theme
At this moment I am giving a test run to the heavily customized theme, Cellar Heat by Evan Eckard. If you happen to see TheUnclean anytime in the next couple of days, please excuse any mess you may find.
When I first saw the original layout, I knew it was the ideal starting point. I also knew it would need a ton of work to make it dance the way I need. Once I am done, I will post all the details and make an announcement. Anyways, back to making changes.
Two Years of The Unclean
I installed WordPress on TheUnclean.com on April 4th, 2007. I cannot believe it’s been almost two years already…time flies when your a cog in the corporate machine. And now, it’s been almost two months since I left the corporate world behind; a decade was long enough there for me. During this past two months I have been able to get more done then I did in the previous 6 months. But it is not nearly enough. Read the rest of this entry »
Getting Back in Shape
The past decade of working as a corporate zombie has not done well for my health. Now that I no longer work for anyone else, I have been able to keep up with a very light workout program. This week, I add changes to what I eat. By actually making a grocery list based on what foods I should eat for the next two weeks, I am hoping to get the portions and types of food I need rather then the stuff I am hungry for at that moment.
I have already lost 25 lbs and 3 inches on my waist. Once I lose 5 more, I get to get my lip pierced. When I get my ultimate goal, I get to have the tattoo on my chest fixed and finished, along with some ink on my back and shoulders done.
Time to go sweat.
Some things never change…
I just heard from an old ‘friend’. You know the type, there when everything is good and gone when the party ends. The type of person that you only hear from when they need or want something.
Here I am, finally not working for others. After over a decade of working two full time jobs. Here I am, getting settled into a life of doing what I want, when I want. And here comes the ‘friend’ that needs a hand, help getting back on solid ground.

SuicideGirls Fractal & Nixon
Two of the absolutely most beautiful, and seemingly interesting women you will find naked on the net are blogging together right here on WordPress. From Nixon’s own blog:
I would like to introduce you to Haute Macabre, a brand new dark fashion blog from the twisted brains of yours truly and her good buddy Samantha, dedicated to the way dark fashion should be (read, we hate mall Goths too).
To be perfectly honest, being the fashionably ignorant, I had no freakn idea what the hell Haute meant; yeah WikiPedia.
