In helping a friend, I realized that there is not a way to add a GrooveShark playlist/widget into the sidebar or within posts. I use the GrooveShark plugin on a regular basis for my other self-hosted WordPress installs, and it is a fairly simply and easy to sue plugin; with very good support. So I am surprised that it is not available here on the hosted version of WP.
Everything Changes

Who what a crazy few weeks! The Unclean has been completely redesigned and now has a much greater focus on music and horror comics, moves & shows. I am reworking the entire directory to be more focused and easily searched. And, I have already begun to allow others to write on my site 
I really like the new WordPress theme. Besides looking very nice, it is much cleaner and makes it easier to find specific content. I will still be making some tweaks here and there and may rewrite the author pages, but it is much better then anything I have had on the site before.
Since I have some people helping me with content generation, I have added columns (weekly features) to the site:
- Weekly Playlist- A music playlist that uses the GrooveShark plugin
- Toxicology- A weekly food & beverage post
- Sunday Edition- the week in review
But wait, there’s more..
I added the AmR iCal Events List plugin and have another person helping me to add events to a publicly shared Google Calendar; yeah! There is a little popup window (♫ on the top navigation bar) with a GrooveShark playlist widget to allow people to surf and listen to music at the same time. I have the brilliant TubePress plugin used for horror movie trailers as well as music videos on the band profiles.
While my days have become a blur, my focus has not. I even turned down a (small) paying gig to have more time to focus on the site. In fact, for the first time, I have scheduled hours just for creating more content. And that bring me to this often neglected blog.
Like I am doing now, I will begin to use this blog to write about the working aspects of being involved in the community. My personal blog will be over at VampireFreaks.com/TheUnclean.

The Unclean Halloween

To celebrate Halloween this year, I am happy to announce a series of giveaways occurring throughout the month of October. Lots of new additions to the gallery, including an entire 
Shortly after I launched TheUnclean, I began to add suicide girls photos to the subculture gallery. Over two years later, the site has been completely redesigned and there are over 280 suicide girl photos in the gallery so far.
Now I’m starting to add fetish & pinup models into the gallery; life can be so damn hard 
Besides that, I have (finally) begun to add images to the fashion & style section of the gallery. I will spend a great deal of time focusing on this section of the gallery for the next month or so.
Zombies. Some move real fast, but most just slowly give chase. But some things they all share:
- They like brains
- They are not worried about the swine flu
- They don’t pay taxes
- They are featured on TheUnclean
Yup, I am adding featured section/topics to The Unclean and first up, Zombies.
Besides linking to cool zombie and horror movie related websites, when people use Twitter say something about ‘zombie’ or ‘zombies’ it will also be posted there too. The idea is to help promote zombie based entertainment, communities and projects.

Andy Hallett Scholarship Fund Donations

Andy Hallett’s agent has come forward with a statement from the family for those that would like to make donations for a scholarship fund that Andy had worked to support throughout his life.
From Joss Whedon: “When Andy was in high school his best friend lost his brother so the two boys put together a scholarship fund. Andy continued to raise money til his death for this”.

The actor that portrayed Lorne on the hit show Angel, Andy Hallett is dead. He passed away of heart disease at the age of 33. RIP Andy.

Well, I have to say that I am glad that a Twitter widget was added. Especially since I use microblogging services many times a day. I also decided to use a different theme here on WP.com.
As for TheUnclean, I have been extremely busy adding to the galleries (mostly pinups and wallpapers) and getting tons of videos posted.
Also, I ran into someone that used to DJ at Coven 13; along long time ago in a land sort of far away. It threw me for a moment and had me reminiscing. Not about Coven 13, but about the friends and lifestyle I had back then. That was a weird, hard but fun time in my life. Damn, I’m old!
